Area Description

Rolling Fields is where you’ll get your first taste of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Wild Area, a sprawling land mass full of life, beauty, and danger.

Once Trainers arrive at the Wild Area Station from Wedgehurst, they’ll make their way to Motostoke via Rolling Fields. This is where players can experience the open Wild Area using free camera control, meaning angles are not fixed and can be rotated using the controller’s control stick.

There’s lots to do and see around Rolling Fields. For example, there are a total of nine Pokémon Dens, plenty of items (TM84 Tail Slap, for example), and a couple of Berry trees. In addition, you can meet up with an an ingredients seller to purchase goods for your curry recipes.

Head west to discover Dappled Grove or venture east to explore South Lake Miloch and more. Oh, watch out for the giant Onix as you enter Rolling Fields.
